If only

Every now and again, I come across things like this:

And, I conclude, what a damn good idea, I could do with one of those.

But, I am the sort of person to do my research, and quickly discover a plethora of dissatisfied customers, in the example given, seems to work once or twice, then fail!

Why, is nobody offering a better quality/better manufactured version that will actually fulfil the required function. OK, it would cost more, but I would be buying it, and I guess that I am not alone.

A further example: USB heated clothing, Have bought five heated gilets. Four have been returned after failing, and the one I have kept, because I do need something of that sort, only works on full setting, and not on any of its lower settings.

It is 2023, and we have to put up with such abysmal quality control in what we are offered.
